Head of al-Rama, Wadi Khaled municipality released

Exclusive sources told LBCI on Friday that the head of the municipality of al-Rama, Wadi Khaled Soueidan Deaibes was released Friday morning days after his arrest by Syrian intelligence.

The Syrian intelligence had apprehended Deaibes, aka “al-Badawi” on Wednesday in Wadi Khaled, Akkar as he was entering Syria.

According to the same sources, Soueidan owns a factory in Syria and crosses into Syrian territory on a regular basis.
