Introduction to the evening news 11-06-2012

The 25th of June, that is the next date which has been set for the next dialogue session which took place today and which began in "reverse order". The national talks started off with the third topic of discussion, arms within various lebanese cities. it then moved on the arms of the resistance, ending with the subject of lose arms in and outside Palestinian refugee camps.   

Meanwhile LBCI uncovered untold secrets regarding the dialogue via Saad Hariri - starting the lunch he held with President Michel Sleiman at the Saudi FM's home.    

The dialogue may have taken place at the Baabda Palace, however all eyes remained on Akkar in light of continuous kidnappings. The issue of the Lebanese detainees however received no attention, all the while as families await fresh news of their loved ones from Turkey or any other source.        

In the Syrian file though, there was progress, as the Head of the Syrian National Council called on Assad to step down allowing his VP Farouk Sharea to take power. This as today's fighting reaped over 74 deaths.
