LAF escorts Jabal Mohsen students to official exams

You can ask the students of Bab al-Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen about the type of bullets used in the latest clashes, or you can ask them about the difference between Energa and Mortar shells, and you will get adequate answers for sure.       

However, if you ask them about the official exams for Intermediate Certificate “Brevet”, kicked off on Tuesday, the answers may not be of such accuracy.              

In Jabal Mohsen, as in Bab al-Tebbaneh, the sound of gunfire during the past weeks covered on the History, Maths and Arabic Literature lessons.    

Between the two regions, news about the risks that the students are exposed to when going out to their exams, drove the LAF to escort Jabal Mohsen students to Zgharta where the exams are held, and back to their homes.    

Education Minister Hassan Diab toured through examination centers to reassure their smooth running. He later confirmed that the date of the second session of the examinations has been scheduled.             

The interest given by the minister to exams in the capital was not reflected in the North, the ministry only imposed some logistic measures to prevent security problems.       

A few more days, the official exams will end; students will start their long holiday while Tripoli students will continue “dancing on the edge of hell”.
