LAF, Palestinians reach agreement over Nahr al-Bared

An agreement [to contain the situation] has been reached between the LAF and Palestinian factions at the Nahr al-Bared refugee camp on Tuesday.

According to LBCI, the agreement stipulates the formation of an investigation committee into the killings of Ahmad Qassem and Fouad Al-Loubanni, the removal of visible arms, cessation of political rhetoric and the release of the 11 detainees, captured following the latest clashes.

Reports say that at least one Palestinian was killed and Lebanese soldiers were wounded on Monday in clashes that erupted between the LAF and residents during the funeral of Ahmad Qassem, who was killed during unrest at the camp on Friday.
