Makari: LF candidate represents all March 14

Deputy Speaker Farid Makari stressed on Sunday the support of the March 14 bloc towards the Lebanese Forces candidate for the Koura subsidiary elections Fady Karam.

In a press conference Makari continued that Karam’s victory is vital for March 14th political role in Lebanon.

He went on to add that the March 14 faction will regain parliamentary majority in the 2013 elections, adding that July 15th victory will confirm that. For his part, Karam stated that if it were not for the [Christian] resistance and upholding March 14th principles, Lebanon would not stand as it does today.
