Qabbani to Aoun: Bassil not God sent prodigy
The head of the Committee on Public Works and Transport MP Mohammad Qabbani stated on Monday that mass rallies and protests should be held across the country against Energy minister Gebran Bassil.

He went on to deny that Bassil had proposed an electricity plan dating as far back as 2010, saying that the latter only presented a list of ideas.               Speaking on governments headed by the Hariri’s, Qabbani pointed to the difference in electrical power supply to Lebanese homes, stating that in 1993 citizens received 3-5 hours of daily power feeds, which subsequently turned to 24 hour electricity supply under the reign of Hariri.                      I

n his concluding remarks, Qabbani said that the problem with MP Michel Aoun is that he thinks that his son in law [Gebran Bassil] is a God sent prodigy.
