How did Egyptian workers in Lebanon react to Morsy’s election?

Egyptian workers in Lebanon were divided between supporters of the election of Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate Mohammed Morsy as Egypt’s new president and those who disapprove of the new president.

Some Egyptians working in Lebanon attached great hopes on Morsy since he comes from a poor family and is the first post-revolution president.

In contrast, a large number of them did not hide the fact that they preferred if Ahmad Shafiq had won for fear of the Brotherhood’s rule.
