Several wounded in family clash in Daraya Chouf

A family fued erupted on Sunday night in the Chouf town of Daraya between members of the Rahhal family.

The men were said to have hand on brawls on the onset of the quarrel. By Monday morning, the clash resumed but developed into a shoot out. Zafer, Ghaleb and Jihad Rahhal were taken to hospital and are in stable condition.

The ISF immediately arrived at the scene and intensified checkpoints across the area so that the conflict would not broaden.
