Jal al-Dib tunnel: a solution or complication?

The Jal al-Dib residents celebrated on Tuesday the cabinet’s decision to install a tunnel for the town.

However, celebrations were swiftly replaced with serious calculations since this tunnel will allegedly affect the profits of stores adjacent to the highway.

In this context, the Mukhtar of Jal al-Dib Jean Abou Jaoude confirmed that the tunnel project studied by a number of engineers could be approved by the Council for Development and Reconstruction after study, denying that the tunnel will affect adjacent stores.
