Sheikh Assir: We will not lift our sit-in until our demands are met!

The Imam of the Bilal bin Rabbah Mosque, Sheikh Ahmad Assir, continued his usual attack on political figures on Friday, calling on Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to hand his weapons over to the Lebanese state. Assir stressed that he will not lift the sit-in unless this demand is met.

"While they are trying to silence us and thwart our determination, we say this bluntly: we won’t rest until our demands are met", Assir said.

Assir stressed his support for the LAF, adding that he is with the punishment of some of its errant members.

Following Friday’s prayers, Sheikh Assir held a symbolic march on the seaside road along with his partisans.
