Top businessman and former MP caught in Achrafieh cocaine scandal

The state has recently launched a campaign to destroy cannabis fields in the Bekaa region, leading many to believe that it is adamant on fighting drugs.

However, truth on the ground reveals that that same state is overlooking mass narcotics consumption, especially when high-ranking figures are involved.

A business mogul and former MP who will remain unnamed reportedly allowed substance abuse when a Jordanian guest "craved" the drug.

The MP had been hosting colleagues, Lebanese and Arab elites in his apartment in Sursok, Achrafieh.

Accordingly, she called her favorite dealer to set a covert meeting with the MP's blessing.

The lady’s chauffeur met with the dealer near the Church of Our Lady in Achrafiyeh.

However, it turned out that the dealer was used as police bait.

Following the swift interrogation of the driver, an anti-drug unit headed for the relevant apartment and found, to their surprise, the prominent businessman and top representatives of the country.

However, the political immunity that the former MP enjoyed in the past, now still valid, albeit not by law,  spared him the legal hassle that such a scandal would usually entail.
