Six hundred Palestinian families fled Syria to Lebanon last week

Around 600 families of Palestinian refugees fled from Syria to Lebanon during last week, and the majority came from Yarmouk camp in Damascus.
It was reported that most of the refugees went to al-Jalil and Taalabaya camps for Palestinian refugees in Bekaa, adding that 50 families went to Naher al-Bared and 28 to al-Baddawi camp in the North. The rest of the refugees stayed at Ain al-Helweh camp in Sidon.

The displacement movement began when the Yarmouk camp was targeted by shelling, leading a large number of refugees to cross the official borders. It was reported that this movement continued over the last week, noting that refugees have been displaced to Yarmouk camp from camps in Deraa and Homs and had to move again to Lebanon.
