Lebanese citizen disappears in Damascus

Citizens cut-off road and burn tires in Maaroub in protest of Mansour’s disappearance in Syria.

Earlier, Lebanese national Mohammad Mansour from the town of Maaroub, Tyre announced that his 23-year-old son, Louay, disappeared last week in Damascus while heading to his family’s house.

The father said that his son went missing while shopping in a store in Damascus, adding that he was not carrying any identification papers “and had left home without them”.

Mansour pointed out that they contacted all the Syrian security apparatuses, mainly the Abbasiyyin Police Department in Damascus, adding that he still has no information on his son’s whereabouts.

Mansour called on the President, the Prime Minister and the House Speaker to help him disclose the fate of his son.
