Man arrested for robbery of BLOM Bank in Mazraat Yachouh

After a series of investigations and inquiries, the ISF’s Information Division arrested a member of the Zeayter family at the entrance of south Lebanon in the region of Awali over involvement in the robbery of BLOM Bank in Mazraat Yachouh.

10 days ago, BLOM Bank’s branch in Mazraat Yachouh was robbed by two gunmen one of whom fired 4 shots at LAF Captain Rayan al-Jordi who happened to be at the site during the incident. The gunmen stole the money from the bank as well as the injured captain’s war pistol and fled on their motorcycle.

Security forces are still hunting down the second suspect in this crime.
