Geagea: Lebanon’s fate is at stake
During a gathering with Lebanese expatriates, LF leader Samir Geagea praised President’s Sleiman latest efforts, in which Sleiman ordered for the Security and Judicial Apparatuses to attempt the release of the detainees and hostages across the country, and to pursue abductors in those regards.

"This is one of the few times where a Lebanese official acts in accordance to his patriotic responsibilities," Geagea said.

Geagea warned of impeding dangers threatening Lebanon's "fate" adding, "that no one is allowed to act as they please, even if it’s for a good cause, or else the Lebanese State will vanish".

Geagea also urged the Public Prosecution to issue legal claims that allow all Security and Judicial Apparatuses across the country to exert efforts to release all detainees, no matter their nationality and political views.

“No one has the right to kidnap”, he said in his concluding remarks.
