LF leader, Samir Geagea, reported on Friday that he doesn’t believe that the Syrian crisis will spill over into Lebanon. “A new civil war is unlikely to happen, despite that some of the Syrian regime's allies in Lebanon are trying to create conflict in order to give the regime a break”, Geagea said. In an interview to a German magazine, Geagea stated that “President Sleiman is exerting all possible efforts to avoid any civil war and to reserve what’s left of the Lebanese State.”
