Sleiman from N.Y: Committed to international resolutions related to STL

President Michel Sleiman reiterated Wednesday Lebanon’s commitment to international resolutions including that related to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).

Sleiman also confirmed, during his speech at the U.N. General Assembly session in New York, Lebanon’s commitment to U.N Security Council resolution 1701, calling on the international community to exert pressure on Israel in order to implement the said resolution in its entirety.

Sleiman added that Lebanon condemns the recent terrorist attacks against UNIFIL, highlighting the ongoing attempts to unveil the perpetrators and to prevent similar acts in the future.
