Introduction to the evening news 12-09-2012

Angelina Jolie is in Beirut, not as the heroin of a new American movie shown in Lebanese theaters but as a viewer. She came to watch a "Syrian reality TV show" live from the Lebanese territory. Jolie visited Syrian refugees, this time not in camps but safe in the homes of Lebanese families.

Besides Jolie's tour, the Lebanese followed up on a dialogue of another kind between Samaha and Sayyed between Sheraton Hotel and Beirut. LBCI will tackle this dialogue in detail in a special report throughout the news bulletin.

As for the Lebanese -Turkish dialogue, it led to the release of the Turkish hostage and his transfer to Ankara. Although no Lebanese abductee was released, the dialogue is expected to be resumed in a positive atmosphere.

Separately,Ibrahimi will head to Damascus tomorrow and is expected to meet with President Bashar Assad on Friday. However, the main news was in Libya an attack rocked the city of Benghazi, killing the U.S. ambassador.
