Araji: Lebanon is still in Coronavirus containment stage
Head of the Health Committee MI Issam Araji said on Tuesday that 80% of Coronavirus cases are curable without any treatment, adding that the fatality rate is only 3% and they are generally people over 70 or those who suffer from intractable illnesses.
Araji’s comments were made after the meeting he of the Health Committee whereby he said that the country is still in the containment stage, calling for equipping the governmental hospitals in case the virus spread.
“We will ask from private hospitals to open their doors in case the virus spread,” he added.
On another note, Araji stressed that Labor Ministry must take measures and procedures in order to prevent the spread of the virus in Lebanese factories.
He concluded by saying that the Coronavirus is available for free at the Rafic Hariri Hospital.
