Health Minister Hamad: Coronavirus is under control in Lebanon

Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Wednesday that World Health organization asserted that Lebanon is still in the “containment stage and did not reach the outbreak stage.

Hamad’s comments were made during a joint press conference with the WHO whereby he asserted that the ministry’s role is to limit the virus’s outbreak.
“The situation is under control and safe,” he added.

The minister concluded by thanking the Red Cross, nurses, doctors and all employees at the Rafic Hariri hospital as well as the ministry’s team for the work they conducted it.
