Qortbawi calls for major judicial reforms

Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi chaired on Friday a comprehensive judicial meeting in the Justice Palace in Beirut which included the general prosecutors, public defenders and investigation judges from all districts, in the presence of State Prosecutor Judge Said Mirza.

The meeting discussed the work of the Public Prosecution Department and the investigation judges, along with speeding up detainee cases as well as those held in pretrial detention.
