5 Syrian citizens arrested, pending deportation

A Lebanese security official said on Monday that Lebanese authorities arrested 5 Syrian nationals on Sunday when they illegally entered the Lebanese territories through Jabal El Sheikh (Haramoun), a mountain situated on the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

The source added that the Syrian citizens are currently detained in Rachaya El Fakhar police station, stressing that they will be soon deported to their country.
