Cabinet approves financial appointments

Cabinet approved on Wednesday four new deputy-governor appointments to Lebanon’s Central Bank.

The four new deputy-governor appointments to Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh: Wasim Mansouri, Salim Shaheen, Bashir Yaqan, and Alexander Muradian.

The Cabinet also appointed on Wednesday five members of the Banking Control Commission: Maya Dabbagh as President, Marwan Mikhael, Joseph Haddad, Kamel Wazni, and Adel Drake.

Crystal Wakim was appointed as government representative at the bank.

Judge Marwan Abboud was named as the new governor of Beirut.
