Kaouk: They are calling for an Israeli invasion
The Vice President of Hezbollah’s legislative council Sheikh Nabil Kaouk described Maronite Patriarch Bshara Rai’s visit to the south as patriotic and historic, pointing out that this visit clearly disturbed Israel and carried many subtle messages.

During a ceremonial mass in Majdel Selem in honor of Rai’s visit, Kaouk said that some parties in Lebanon are seeking aid from major foreign powers to wage a new war against Lebanon and Syria as they failed to achieve their goals politically.

“They failed in running the country, they bet on international tribunals and resolutions and they will soon seek NATO’s intervention in Syria and an Israeli invasion of Lebanon”, Kaouk said.

Kaouk considered that the latest American stance towards Palestine’s bid for full membership at the United Nation’s Security Council as humiliating for the United States and its followers adding that Obama’s speech at the UN unveiled the lies of the American administration regarding the Palestinian cause.
