Abandoned newborn found in a basket in Ajaltoun

A newborn baby was found in a basket today (Tuesday) morning at the entrance of "Mary and Martha" Society in the town of Ajaltoun.

According to the NNA the society director came to Interior Security Forces office in Raifoun and reported that the 6 months old baby was found today morning in a basket at the entrance of the premises.

After undergoing medical tests, the baby was found to be in a good health and was transferred to the society which will look after him, the report added.
