Berri to Assad: your experience with resistance and reform will help overcome the crisis

Commemorating the October War, Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri sent a letter to the Syrian President Bashar Assad in which he mentioned that "his experience with resistance and reform will help Syria overcome the crisis and achieve the aspiration of the Syrian people."

He also pointed out that the current situation will assure the strong return of Syria to take its advanced role in building the future of its security and supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle to achieve their national aims.

The Speaker also sent a similar letter to the Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi in which he talked about Egypt's role in building Arab stability on the basis of democracy.
