Diab chairs crisis cell meeting

Prime Minister Hassan Diab chaired on Thursday a meeting of the crisis cell.

The meeting was attended by by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Zeina Akar, Ministers of Finance Ghazi Wazni, Economy and Trade Raoul Nehme, Interior and Municipalities Mohammad Fahmi, Public Works and Transportation Michel Najjar and Social Affairs Ramzi Al-Musharrafieh, LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makie, Secretary General of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim, Director General of the Internal Security Forces Major General Imad Othman, Director General of State Security Major General Antoine Saliba, Director General of Customs Badri Daher, Head of Information Division Brigadier Khaled Hammoud, Commander of Military Police, Colonel Nabil Abdullah, Head of the Operations Division at the Internal Security Forces, Colonel Jean Awwad, and PM’s Advisor, Khodor Taleb.

Discussions touched upon speeding up rescue operations, damage survey and sheltering families whose houses have been destroyed.
