President Aoun: Doors of courts will be open before everyone

President Michel Aoun said on Friday that work is ongoing to reveal the truth for the Lebanese people, adding that investigations will include those who are directly responsible for the blast.

Aoun’s comments were made to reporters at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he said that “doors of courts will be open before everyone.”

Aoun also said that the cause of the blast has not been determined yet, adding that there is a possibility of external interference.

Aoun explained that investigation into the blast is being conducted on three levels” “first, how the explosive material entered and was stored ... second whether the explosion was a result of negligence or an accident ... and third the possibility of an external interference.”
