As a result of an explosion at the Port of Beirut on Tuesday, August 4, more than 200 people have been killed and over 5,000 others wounded, with hundreds still lost or missing, and more than 300,000 individuals left homeless.
In support of the Lebanese community and ongoing recovery and relief efforts, Facebook Page “Beirut Needs You” has launched a donation campaign, with Facebook matching up to $1 million.
The funds will be going directly to the International Medical Corps, which will then work with reputable hospitals and NGOs in Lebanon to disseminate.
