Hariri: We accept the verdict issued by STL

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri commented on Tuesday on the verdict issued by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon on the assassination of his father, late prime minister Rafic Hariri and 21 others.

“The STL issued its verdict, and in the name of Rafic Hariri’s family and the families of the victims, we accept the verdict and we want justice to be fulfilled,” Hariri said after the session from The Hague.

He also that it became evident that the killers belong to Hezbollah ranks, adding that they will not accept of making Lebanon a “hotbed of murderers and impunity."

“Let no one expect any sacrifice from us anymore,” Hariri stressed.

" Truth and justice for Rafic Hariri paved the way to reveal the truth and to achieve justice for the innocents who fell victims of the Beirut port, and for all those whose homes and interests were destroyed without any justification,” he added.
