French envoy: Negotiations are the only path to end war in Lebanon

France’s envoy to Lebanon said it is unrealistic to expect the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah within days while the country remains under bombardment.

He added that Israel itself has not been able to disarm Hezbollah, stressing that the only viable way to end the war in Lebanon is through negotiations.
