Diab: We hope STL judgement will pave way to achieve justice and advance stability

Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab issued on Tuesday the following statement:

“Today we commemorate the martyr and former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, who left a mark on Lebanon’s history, and whose achievements will now and forever be remembered by the Lebanese people.

We hope that the judgment issued by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon will pave the way to achieve justice and advance stability, in fulfillment of martyr Premier’s dream, so that the country emerges strongly and cohesively from this ordeal, embracing national unity, civil peace and coexistence.

May God bless the soul of martyr Hariri and protect Lebanon!”
