Final member of a robbery gang arrested

Upon its previous statement related to arresting the members of the bank robbing cell, the Army Command mentioned on Wednesday that the Directorate of Intelligence was able to arrest Houssein Hijazi.

Hijazi, the last person of affiliated with the cell, was hiding in the South and mentioned that he performed with the other arrestees Mohammad al-Jouni, Mohammad Ayoub, and Firas Salha a series of bank robberies.

The arrestee was handed over to concerned judicial authorities.

It is worth mentioning that the Rayan al-Jerdi, a Captain in the LAF, was severely injured during a bank robbery that took place on the 9th of August at a BLOM Bank branch in Mazraat Yashou.
