Macron voices readiness to host International conference on how to help Lebanon next month

French President Emmanuel Macron voiced on Tuesday his readiness to host an International conference with the United Nations on how to help Lebanon in mid-October.

Macron, who is on an official visit to Lebanon, is pressuring Lebanese political powers to form a new government swiftly.

In a meeting with representatives of the civil society and the UN, he stressed need to focus over the next six months on the state of emergency and to continue mobilizing the international community."
