Siniora: Hezbollah’s operation entangles Lebanon

Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said on Sunday that when Hezbollah sent a drone aircraft to Israel, it achieved a remarkable achievement on the technical and military levels.

However, and according to Siniora, “this operation violates the UN resolution 1701 and involves Lebanon in military operations since Hezbollah made the decision without consulting the Lebanese government”.

“Hezbollah’s decision threatens the Lebanese state’s security,” he added.

The former prime minister alluded that this operation is conducted by Iran, stressing that Lebanon is being used to exchange regional and international messages.
