Presidential Palace illuminated pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In conjunction with the Health Ministry, the first lady Wafaa Sleiman launched on Monday the annual National Anti-Breast Cancer Campaign entitled "Examine yourself, early detection saves your life".

Celebrating the launching of this campaign, the First Lady illuminated the Presidential Palace with pink lights.

In her speech the Sleiman stressed the importance of this campaign and said that the Ministry of Public Health has shown its efforts in this campaign especially in raising the level of awareness.

At the end of her speech Sleiman asked all Lebanese women to take this campaign seriously considering that the health of the new generation is part of their own health.
