Asiri: Saudi Arabia grants Syrians pilgrimage visas

The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awad Asiri, said on Wednesday that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was granting Syrians residing in Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey visas to perform their pilgrimage rite in Mecca.

He made it clear that the KSA Embassies in the above mentioned countries were carrying out the instructions of the Saudi King.

"Directives were given to offer Syrian nationals wishing to perform a pilgrimage visit to Mecca this year," Asiri said.

He added that a special department has been formed at the Saudi Embassy in Beirut to offer Syrians required services.
