Hariri from Baabda: I submitted a Cabinet lineup to Aoun

Prime Minister-Designate Saad Hariri said on Wednesday that he submitted a Cabinet lineup to President Michel Aoun.

Hariri’s comments were made after meeting with Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he revealed that the lineup is formed of 18 ministers of experts not affiliated to political parties.

“President Aoun promised me that he will examine the lineup before holding another meeting,” he added.

Hariri concluded by saying that the atmosphere is “positive”, adding that the hopes are high to form a new government that will rebuild Beirut and recover the trust of the Lebanese people through the implementation of reforms.
