Situation in Tripoli is slowly garnering normality

The situation on the Tripoli scene is slowly garnering normality in the wake of 3 days of intense clashes.

While the LAF is still patrolling the area, setting up fixed checkpoints in Bab el Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, mainly in Syria Street, it seems that the conflicting parties decided to abide by the ceasefire and the security plan.

Residents are coming out to the streets to check up on damages sustained by the armed clashes.

In this regard, the Secretary General of the Arab Democratic Party Refaat Eid held a press conference on Wednesday at 1 PM.

In a talk to LBCI the Spokesperson of the Arab Democratic Party
Abdellatif Saleh said that Jabal Mohsen’s residents are ready to live peacefully with Bab al-Tabbaneh’s citizens and other neighboring towns.

He also asked for keeping strife away from Tripoli and from the Lebanese territories in whole.
