Connelly: US committed to provide technical assistance in Achrafieh blast investigations

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly voiced her country’s deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the blast which rocked a crowded neighborhood in Achrafieh. She stressed that her country is committed to providing technical assistance in the investigations.

During a meeting with Achrafieh’s MPs, Connelly reiterated her country’s commitment to a stable, sovereign and independent Lebanon.
