Calls to close mechanical inspection centers until demands are met

The General Labor Confederation and the land transport sector’s unions called on Thursday for the closure of all mechanical inspection centers in Lebanon until their demands are met.

They revealed that several proposals in this regard were presented to Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab to be examined in the next few days.

These proposal included: implementing the Law, managing these centers by the government and enrolling their employees and workers in the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities cadre.
