Lebanon’s finance minister to visit Iraq for talks on oil and electricity

Finance Minister Yassine Jaber said Friday he briefed President Joseph Aoun on the outcome of meetings held in Washington and received guidance on an upcoming visit to Iraq.

Jaber said the visit, scheduled for Monday, will be conducted alongside the Lebanese energy minister and will focus on a range of joint issues—particularly in the oil and electricity sectors.
