De Mistura visits UNIFIL’s Italian unit in South Lebanon

Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Stephan De Mistura visited the UNIFIL’s Italian contingent in the city of Tyre, South Lebanon on Thursday.

Mistura was accompanied by the UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Paolo Serra .

On this occasion, Gen. Serra stated that Italy is committed to helping Lebanon.

For his part, Mistura praised the achievements of the Italian forces in the South and the good relations they managed to maintain with the residents.
