Hariri urges Mikati to resign, Kahwaji visits Sidon's army base

MP Bahia Hariri stated on Tuesday that "when political tensions turn into armed clashes, stability and fraternity are in danger."

Hariri addressed PM Najib Mikati and urged him to submit his resignation after the latest security incidents.

Separately, Army Commander Jean Kahwaji visited army base in Sidon.

Kahwaji stressed that the LAF will face all violators and will not hesitate to use force to prevent any incident that could turn Sidon into a battlefield.
