Aoun: Making every recovery plan fail means corrupt system fears accountability

President Michel Aoun said on Sunday that making every plan for financial and economic recovery fail only means that the corrupt system that still controls the country and its people, fears accountability.

Aoun’s comments were made to visitors at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he noted that “any recovery plan stems from three pillars: identifying and distributing losses, defining responsibilities and defining ways to address them.”

He also added that the Lebanese people must know who is humiliating them to receive their basic rights.
