Mikati meets army chief, ambassadors

Prime Minister Najib Mikati met on Wednesday at the Grand Serail with the Military Council chaired by army chief General Joseph Aoun.

He later received a delegation of the General Labor Confederation, headed by Beshara Asmar.

Also, Mikati held talks respectively with Ambassadors Abdel Aal Souleiman Al Qenaei of Kuwait, Qian Minjian of China, and Ian Collard of the UK.

The Prime Minister later received a phone call from Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry who congratulated him on the formation of the new government.
