Roads to avoid on Independence Day

On the occasion of Independence Day, a military parade will take place throughout the Shafiq Wazzan Avenue in Downtown Beirut on the 22nd of November 2012.         

For this occasion, the Directorate General of Internal Security Forces announced the following traffic measures.              

On the 22nd of November, and starting from 5:30 AM, cars will not be allowed to park in the commercial centers, garages, and on the following roads:     

-From the Lebanese expatriate's statue towards Saifi/Kataeb Headquarters              

-From the Lebanese expatriate's statue towards Phoenicia Hotel                 

-From Burj Al-Ghazal towards Burj Al-Murr         

-From Burj Al-Murr towards Phoenicia Hotel              

-From Burj Al-Ghazal towards Saifi/Kataeb Headquarters             

-From the Forum de Beirut passing by Karantina towards the Port Area.               

-From Zkak el-Blat passing by Riad el-Solh Square, Amir Bachir Street, George Haddad Street, towards Shafiq Wazzan Avenue                

-From Fouad Chehab Avenue towards Burj Al-Ghazal          

It is worth mentioning that traffic will be diverted towards the following roads:           

-From Ibn Sina Street towards the Phoenicia tunnel           

-From Tabaris towards Burj Al-Ghazal, passing by Fouad Chehab Bridge and Franjieh-Phoenicia tunnel.             

-From Bachoura towards Zkak el-Blat.         

-From Salim Slam Bridge towards Franjieh Phoenicia tunnel.            

-From the Lebanese expatriate's statue towards Saifi.           

-From Zkak el-Blat Square towards Riad el-Solh.
