Ghosn: Lebanese will go on strike October 12

The Head of General Federation of Labor Unions (CGTL) Ghassan Ghosn reiterated the federation’s demands following the meeting of the CGTL’s executive council on Tuesday.

Ghosn highlighted the importance of boosting social worker benefits, confirming his attempt to reach a solution on the matter within the framework of the index committee’s meetings.

Ghosn also voiced commitment to stage a strike on October 12 if the federation’s demands are not met before the due date.

In his concluding remarks, Ghosn appealed to all the Lebanese to be ready to take it to the street if need be.
