MP Assem Araji underlines importance of receiving the third dose

Head of the parliamentary health committee MP Assem Araji expressed concern on Monday during an interview with “Sawt Kel Lebnen” about an expected increase in Omicron cases, whose spread force is estimated to be about five to six times greater than of Delta variant spread, warning of “a major health predicament if cases increase in the next stage, which may force us to close the country."

He also explained that “the composition of Johnson & Johnson vaccine is similar to the composition of AstraZeneca vaccine,” impliying that “one person among 100,000 is at risk of developing blood clots,” emphasizing the “importance of receiving the third booster dose in order to increase immunity and resist all variants.”
