Polling stations abroad will open their doors next year to receive the non-resident Lebanese who have registered to vote during the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The number of countries where polling stations will be set up has risen to 60, which is an increase of 20 polling stations over the previous elections.
These countries are as follows:
North America: Canada, USA and Mexico
South America: Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia
Oceania: Australia only
Europe: France, Germany, UK, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Cyprus, Denmark, Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Ireland, Hungary, Poland and Luxembourg
Asia and Arab Countries: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Syria, Turkey, Oman, Egypt, Iran, Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq,
Africa: Morocco, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, Gabon, Congo, Senegal, DR Congo, Benin, Togo, Zambia, South Africa, Liberia, Guinea, Angola, Mali, Burkina Faso and Cameroon.
